1. About these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AdviceGenie website at advicegenie.com.au and any related pages and tools (the "Site"), built and operated by Cognify Labs Pty Ltd ("AdviceGenie", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. General information only — not advice
The content on the Site is general in nature only and does not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs. It is not financial product advice, investment advice, legal advice, taxation advice, or any other kind of professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such.
AdviceGenie does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and does not provide financial product advice as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). Before acting on any information on the Site, you should consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances and obtain advice from a licensed financial adviser, accountant, or solicitor.
3. No warranty — accuracy and currency

7. No professional or advisory relationship
Using the Site, contacting us, or submitting an enquiry (including via any "find an adviser" or callback form) does not create any adviser–client, fiduciary, professional, or other special relationship between you and AdviceGenie. We are not your financial adviser. If we help connect you with a licensed adviser, any advice you receive is provided by that adviser, who is solely responsible for it.
8. Enquiries you submit
If you submit your details through a form on the Site, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you consent to us using it to respond to you and, where relevant, to connect you with a licensed financial adviser. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and resources (such as the ATO, ASIC's MoneySmart, and scheduling tools). These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for the content, products, services, or privacy practices of any third-party site.
10. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to AdviceGenie and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of the Site, and update these Terms, at any time without notice. The version published on the Site at the time you use it applies. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
